Searching For the Best Protein Sources

Expert Author Chris G Pap

Searching for the best protein sources is a task that anyone who is considering himself as respectful bodybuilder should have in his mind as priority number one. Training hard and going to the gym everyday for hours will not bring you anything, unless you start taking seriously the proper nutrition issue.

First of all, we need to understand that building the body you have been dreaming of is a combination of training and regular protein intake. Should you neglect one of those two key elements the results will not be even close to the ones you have been expecting.

So, the first thing to do is start looking for the best protein sources in order to back up your muscle grow and give your body the energy to keep up with your hard work at the gym.

Considering the fact, that for every kilogram of body weight you should intake two grams of pure protein for best muscle build, you should focus on food with high protein content.

Some of the best protein sources are: egg white, tune fish, turkey, chicken breast, dry fruits, legumes etch. For an individual, weighing 75 kilos about 150 grams are needed in a daily basis, divided in five meals of 30 grams each. A single egg white contains 5 grams of pure protein (be careful! Consume only the egg white), so eating 4-5 every morning along with a cup of oat (14% protein) gives you a full protein intake for your first meal. The same way, aiming for the 30 grams of protein, choose among the best protein sources, like the ones I mentioned above and like many others you can find in the market.
