My answer to this question would have to be yes.

Why? Because Google is looking for Content!

Since I have started Marketing I have watched what seems to be a change in the way we are going to get high rankings in Google. And it is all about content.

Since about May it seems that Google really does not care for link manipulation." Really all that means is that, they do not want you trying to get links. They don't want you to be getting links from link exchanges, or just trading them from webmaster to webmaster. They are only wanting them to come because you are just offering great content that others just naturally Link to from their own websites. No more making special link pages that gather links. If you continue to keep these up you will begin to watch your rankings drop. So if it seems your rankings have dropped overnight and you really can't figure out why, try removing your links pages down and see what happens.

So what Kind of Content is Google really looking for?

EVERYTHING! Google wants it to come from Articles, from videos, audios, blog entries. How ever you can go about delivering Great content you need to be doing it. Make sure that it is good content and filled with some good substance. Even adding pictures to your site, but make sure they have "alt" tags with Keywords included in the description.

Why should we really care about Google. Simply because they get over 50% of all of the search queries made. The reason for this is because their main interest is to give people the best content possible that people online are searching for. And as Marketers or someone looking to get into marketing, this should be our goal as well.

The days of just throwing tons of links to your target site are over. Just start providing Good Solid content.

So if it is content that Google want then that is what they should get if you want to continue to get good page rankings.

If you have a blog, make sure you are staying on top of it and providing tons of good content. Keep it Niche Based. What I mean by this is simply provide content targeted to what product or service you are providing. If you are selling Dog products make sure that your content is targeted towards the Dog market.

Another great way to add content is to add Good quality training videos to your website. Again make them Niche related. Do good video product reviews of affiliate products that you may be selling. Even your own products. always be adding content that will help someone solve a problem. You can give your target audience podcasts.

Submit Press Releases. By submitting press releases with one way linking back to your site you will be providing your site with Search Engine Optimization advantages. Especially if they are coming from a site like PRWeb. PRWeb has a high Google Page ranking already. Google will like this and give you the votes need for your site.

Good content will bring you better traffic to your site and it, will be traffic that will convert better.

Make sure you submit your videos on YouTube. Google recently bought YouTube. I am sure they will be really watching for good content filled video.
