Samsung SGH-T619 Review - A Review of the Samsung SGH-T619 Review Cell Phone

The Samsung SGH-T619 cellular phone has a flip design and 30 MB of user memory. The 262K TFT display features QCIF resolution and measures 1.9". The external 65K CSTN display features a resolution of 96 by 96 pixels and measures 1.0". The 1.3 megapixel camera features 4x digital zoom and a number of different shot modes - including night, timer and multi shot. The camera also records video at 3gp (H.263 + AMR) and MPEG4.

It also includes both a digital music player capable of interfacing with MP3 and AAC files and 3D sound technology for MP3 and SMF. Forty polyphonic ringtones also come with the phone. In compact mode, the phone measures 3.7" high, 1.8" wide and 0.7" thick, and weighs in at 2.82 ounces. The phone's sleek outer clamshell both protects the keyboard and interior screen and allows for greater portability.

The phone features voicemail, voice memo, and SMS/MMS texting service. Smart messaging and media messaging are also available, with a maximum message size of 300 KB. Instant messaging is available through AOL, Yahoo, ICQ and MSN messengers. VCard and vCalendar are included in the phone. Internet browsing is supported by WAP 2.0 and DM Outlook sync is a standard feature.

The Samsung SGH-T619 operates on the 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz bands, and supports Bluetooth and USB 1.1 technology. The phone uses CSD, GPRS Class 10 and EDGE Class 10, and the operating system is proprietary. Users can talk for up a minimum of 2.5 hours - and the phone will stand by for a minimum of 200 hours.

The phone includes voice recognition and standard Personal Information Management features. These characteristics include world time, stop watch and alarm. The phone stores up to 1000 phone book entries. It is a compact and convenient companion for today's networked cell phone user.
