When you find that there is a leak, the best thing you need to do is to bring the unit to a professional technician. Clean it and remove debris that can block the air holes or vents. Always store the heater outside but keep it safe from rain. If you must, cover them with a weather-proof covers and keep it dry and free from flammable clutter and chemicals.
