Runner's Nipples on Fire!

If you've had the miss-fortune of bleeding nipples you won't ever forget it! I believe it has happened to every runner at least once. To me it was one of the most painful experiences as a runner I've ever had. We'll discuss how to save a few runners from this embarrassing and painful experience.

What usually happens is a runner has been building up for weeks and weeks for a particular race. Maybe it's a runner's first race. They get to the racing site and get up to the sign in table and get their number. Then moving over to the left to get their safety pins to pin their racing number on. Next they continue to the lady passing out brand new t-shirts. She pulls one right out of the box.

Warning! Warning! What you never want to do is put one of those new t-shirts on! Bad move! You see that's the problem right there. One of those nice looking new t-shirts is a fire-cracker red hot mistake! Or at least you'll think that about half way back in the 5k. You might think some runner would come up to you and give you the low-down! Well not always. There might be a few good hearted runners out there but, that's all you can do. And, all you can do is all you can do...

Some runners cover their nipples with band aids! Some say Vaseline will work. One lady even told me to try peanut butter! Crazy lady! There's always one in every crowd! Never worked for me. Might work for you. I never saw it happen to the ladies.

That's probably because their smarter! I did almost forgot it a second time but, I was smart enough when I realized what was happening that I came out of that t-shirt! I couldn't take it off fast enough! Now if that was a lady, she most likely wouldn't want to do that!
