Rocky Mountain Cam - Your Sunset Cam

The webcams we have today are pretty neat things. It seems like forever when I got my first webcam which was an IBM that broadcast only in just black and white and took an act of congress to broadcast on the internet. A few years later I bought the software product Webcam32 to broadcast using that same IBM webcam. Yes I was still using the IBM webcam because these things were not that cheap by any means at all and to be buying just to get better quality and more features seemed ridiculous. With the amount of time I was using my webcam I soon found myself having issues with my Internet Service Provider or I should say they had issues with my casual use of their precious bandwidth just to play with this ridiculous toy, in the year of 1998, imagine if you can how it was back then having just graduated to high speed internet.

It goes without saying that things today in the 21st Century are a bit different when it comes to the use of webcams and the incredible internet commerce they are involved with. I would go even further to say that I suspect that the utilization of the webcam in the smut industry probably runs a close parallel as to how much they are used in homes, schools and businesses. I have always had an infatuation for these silly little things and was just tickled silly when you could use them in concert with AOL, Yahoo Chat, and MSN Chat having video as you chatted with all of the other geeks I knew across the country. I was always prowling around for something new and unique to broadcast. Ask my wife and she will tell you what a great joy this was.

The result of this prowling is what launched the Mountain cam. Back in Warsaw Missouri I broadcast the Ozarks, and then it was Snowmass Colorado for awhile where I was never at a loss for mountainous beauty to broadcast. I eventually found myself back in Denver Colorado, but not before finding an ideal place to broadcast the Rocky Mountains. With all of the places I had been broadcasting I found that nothing less than the magnitude of the Rocky Mountains would do and thus I found the perfect location to call home northeast of Denver out on the plains with a clear unobstructed view of our majestic Rocky Mountains where I now broadcast with my current cam, the Rocky Mountain cam which is situated toward Longs Peak.

The ancillary of this article is the breathtaking sunsets I have the privilege of seeing each and every evening. Those sunsets which paint the skies with the bright colorful pallet that is never the same as it is splashed across the skies differently in every passing second that passes by. The solace which is felt with the gradually receding of the sun signaling the end of the day, blazing in all of its glory where daytime is blissfully blended into night. This is why I have gone through the pleasure to develop the very best medium for your viewing pleasure which is found in the form of the Rocky Mountain Cam, your sunset cam bringing your day to a pleasant end.
