The Sony Ericsson W205 Pink is a budget friendly, smart and rather feminine looking walkman slider phone. The Sony Ericsson W205 Pink comes in a nice pale colour called Sakura Pink. This cool and delicate colour is sure to be a hit among female users. You can also find this mobile in other colours like Ambient Black, Creamy White and Windy Blue. This mobile is a nice and low priced model designed for those who enjoy music.
This is a slider phone, so you will simply have to slide back the display panel to reveal the keypad underneath. The set is small and compact with dimensions of 92×47×16.4 mm and weighs 96 grams. It is quite easy to use and carry around. The display is small, measuring just 1.6 inches. The screen has a resolution of 128x160 and supports 65,000 colours. The front panel of the handset is dominated by the screen and music and call-selection control buttons.
Navigation is made easy by the Sony Ericsson menu system. The 1.3 mega pixel camera is ideal for snap shots and the picture quality is good. The camera will suffice for an occasional photo or two.
This handset has an internal memory of 5 MB which can be expanded to 2GB using a micro SD card. You get enough memory space to save music files, images etc.
Music is the main highlight of this Sony Ericsson model. After all, it is a walkman phone. It comes with Walkman Player 2.0. Music files in the MP3 and AAC formats are supported. Music sounds really great on this model in spite of the fact that there is no audio equalizer or MEGA BASS. Another cool feature is: you can record songs from FM radio onto the handset. This means that you can enjoy your favourite songs anytime without having to download them. The TrackID feature enables you to name a tune by pressing a button. The FM radio on this phone comes with RDS support.
The W205 Pink is good in terms of connectivity too. There is no 3G but this phone does have GPRS and EDGE. Bluetooth technology is also present so you can use wireless headsets and transfer data easily to other phones.
