Have you noticed how women seem to have romantic fantasies of how men were back in "the good old days" yet every time they turn around, all they can find are the men of today? They constantly complain about how men don't treat them well enough or how men no longer romance them. Most women seem to be stuck in the middle ages when it comes to expectations in today's society. True, men have changed. But what women don't seem to realize is that they are responsible for the way men treat them.

Men don't want to commit because they get everything "for free." Back in the old days, a man had to prove himself worthy, had to ask permission from the woman's father for her hand in marriage etc. He had to be on the ball all the time or he would lose his woman and he knew it. Nowadays, it seems that women have lowered their standards to such an extent that they will stay with anyone, just to be with someone. Have we really slunk so low that we'll take whatever we can get? The problem, ladies, is not what men give us. It's what we expect to get.

Women give men so much nowadays that it's really no wonder why they don't want to commit. After all, why buy the cow when you get the milk for free? Whatever happened to less is more? Ladies please, don't degrade yourselves! You've got the power to get him to call back, you've got the power to get him to treat you as a lady deserves to be treated. No more acting like a dog, begging for his scraps from the table. Go out on dates, enjoy yourself and then go home. Limit how much of yourself you are giving to him. And this isn't just about sex either. Don't be available whenever he should so please; keep up your life.

Men love to chase, and they will value you if you first place value on yourself. Hold yourself high, treat yourself with respect and then the tables are turned. You end up deciding if he's good enough. You end up living your life with him trying to make it better, hoping you'll like him enough to stick around for a while.

Men want to commit just as much as women do; they're just more particular about it. Show him that you're worth committing to and you'll have him in no time.
