Recycling Information

It can be difficult to know what you can recycle so I've written the following article to inform you of what you can recycle so that you can save the environment for generations to come. I hope the following article helps.

Paper Products which you can recycle-

1. Books- can't be recycled in the rubbish but can be donated to charities or sold for other people to use
2. Greeting Cards- either can be recycled at a bank or can be but in your recycling box
3. Magazines- Pop them in your recycling box
4. Cardboard boxes- your kerbside recycling should be able to collect this
5. Shredded Paper- can be put in your recycling box for collection
6. Stamps- stamps can either be collected for charities or put into recycle bins
7. Wrapping Paper- This can be put in your kerbside bin
8. Yellow pages can also be recycled like any other paper

DIY Products and Materials-

1. Bricks and rubble- This cannot be recycled but can be sold or given away to others who may wish to use it.
2. Soil- This can be taken to a recycling centre or picked up by the council from your door step

Liquids and Chemicals-

1. Engine Oil- You can recycled oil but only at your local recycling bank
2. Paint- You can drop this off at your local centre. Although it isn't recycled it is reused by the less fortunate so it doesn't go to waste.
