Men would do well to communicate with their wives in order to determine if there is anything they can do to help their sweetie in this critical area of their marriage. 2. Unmet Emotional Needs - Most of the reasons that why women cheat falls under this broad heading. The majority of women who cheat report that they have important unmet emotional needs that their spouse is just plain unable or unwilling to meet. Men, let me just tell you straight up. Unless you actively strive to meet your wife's emotional needs, she is tempted just as much as you are sexually. Talk with each other often and take her "emotional temperature." Find out what she needs and do your best to make sure she has that.

3. Boredom - Women who cheat report a high level of boredom. Yes, women get bored with the routine of relationships, just like men do. They want to feel special, appreciated, and loved. 5. Disappointment with Mate - Both men and women who cheat give this as a major factor for their straying from their spouse. After the all the warm and fuzzy feelings go away early on in the marriage, both women and men see more of the flaws in their mate. Women in particular notice when we don't take care of ourselves (hygiene), or if we don't keep a promise to fix something around the house for her. They remember that you promised to take care of them. I know that life can throw us a curve ball every now and then and we can get off track. But, we have to know what is important to our wife. We need to know what her goals and dreams are for the future. Because if we don't, and if we fail to make any progress towards those goals and dreams, she may just decide to seek them with someone else. Period.
