Many diets have you eating foods that are completely foreign to you, using ingredients that your grocer has never heard of, and exercising for hours and hours each day like you have nothing else important to fill your days. Real people cannot use these types of diet tips.

For realistic weight loss, you need to use good old common sense. The first tip is to never allow you to feel hungry. Eat about six meals a day, but make those meals small, and be aware of the number of calories that you are consuming. The second tip is to drink plenty of water. Plain water is best, instead of fruit drinks or sports drinks, as water has absolutely no calories in it, and you can drink as much of it as you please.

Cut out all sugar, and eliminate as much fat from your diet as possible. Eat more vegetables and fresh fruits, and instead of frying meat, broil or grill the meat, so that the fat in the meat is eliminated as much as possible during the cooking process. For every food that is bad for you, there is a healthy alternative - and the best tip that you can get and apply is to search for those healthier alternatives.

Finally, you've got to move. You absolutely must exercise to burn off the calories that you are consuming daily, but you don't have to go overboard. Thirty minutes to forty five minutes of concentrated exercise, every single day, is enough.

These are real diet tips for real people. No special foods or equipment are required, and you can lose the weight that you want to lose, and keep it off, without starving or eating foods that you've never heard of.
