Everyone listens to music while they are out driving, as driving instructors we spend more time behind the wheel than most. We think this qualifies us to know a thing or two about driving songs!
Here's RED's top ten motoring tunes:
10. Chamillioinaire - Riddin. Who can resist the urge to turn this up on a hot sunny day while pretending you're in LA rather than Basingstoke?
9. Bruce Springsteen - Dancing in the Dark. This classic from the Boss never gets old, especially at the end of a long journey.
8. Oasis - Slide Away. Oasis may have split up but our instructors still love their classic tunes!
7. Gary Newman - Cars. 'Here in my car. I feel safest of all.' Wise words from Mr Newman.
6. The Beach Boys - I Get Around. Playing this after a stressful day always makes us smile.
5. Alabama 3 - Woke up this Morning. Each time this comes on everyone likes to pretend they are Tony Soprano driving across the New Jersey skyline.
4. You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC. It's impossible for any human being to resist singing along to the chorus of this song.
3. Shot Through the Heart - Bon Jovi. This is as cheesy as it gets but after a long day of driving it helps get anyone excited.
2. Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison. If you don't smile while this is playing on a hot sunny day then we have to question your musical prowess!
1. Don't Stop Me Now - Queen. Although our list is already full of cheese we couldn't refuse this gem the number one spot. Every time a RED pupil passes their driving test this song gets an airing!
