Resident Evil 5 is the award-winning survival horror game from Capcom, and has been hailed by many as the best game of its generation. The game takes place in Africa, where you must control Chris and Sheva (the game is the first ever co-operative Resident Evil) and try and stop Wesker in his evil mission.

Part of Resident Evil 5 now revolves around buying and selling weapons, as well as earning the money do so with. Note that buying and selling a gun is a big decision and one that cannot be easily reversed, so make sure you think each decision through thoroughly. The reason for this is that you can only sell a weapon for 10% of the price that you bought it for, so you can't buy guns and then immediately trade them back in, expecting the full price back.

There is a tonne of weapons in the game, and after playing the game extensively I can now say that the selection of RE5 weapons does not disappoint! These include knifes, pistols, magnum pistols, shotguns, machine guns, sniper rifles, grenades and explosives, and several special weapons such as a bowgun and a Gatling gun. As you can see from this, there's a large variety of RE5 weapons, and the series has clearly taken an approach that favours shooting zombies, rather than avoiding them due to limited ammunition, as could be seen in the first couple of games in the series.

The RE5 weapons used in the games are all based on guns from real life, such as the AK47, the MP5, the SVD Dragunov rifle and the Beretta handgun. My favorite weapon in the game is the Gatling gun, which can be bought for fifty thousand dollars. What it lacks in accuracy it makes up for in firepower and sheer destructive potential.
