Promoting eBay Stores

There are thousands of people selling products on eBay to top up their income; some of these people are even living completely off the income earned from eBay. While there are some people who can get very rich from eBay it doesn't mean that it's easy.

If you want to stand any chance about making serious money on eBay then you need to get yourself an eBay shop. eBay stores are online shop fronts where you can list your own products. eBay stores also have the added advantage of having their own direct web address which you can use to promote your site.

The ability to easily promote your online eBay shop is very important because by promoting it you can attract more visitors. As you should realise the more visitors you can get to your site, the more sales you should make.

Promotion

There are a number of things that you can do to promote your eBay shop and drive more traffic to it. The more traffic you get to your shop, the better chance you have of making money.

Whenever you run an auction on the main site you should include a link back to your eBay store. Simply telling them that you have a greater range available in your eBay shop should do it. If someone doesn't want to buy what you offer at auction they might still check what else you are offering. Actually tell them to click the link and check out your eBay shop because you will be surprised at just how many people will.

Whenever you send an email to anyone you should include your eBay shop URL. This is really easy because you can create an email signature which can be added onto the bottom of every single outgoing email automatically. This is a great technique to promote eBay stores.

When someone wins one of your eBay auctions send them an email containing the link to your eBay store. Tell them that you have a lot of really nice products in your store.

If you are a frequent visitor to forums and find yourself participating regularly then make sure you create a signature with your store details in. This will drive people towards your eBay store, especially if they like what you have to say. If you are interested in doing this then try to find forums which compliment whatever it is you are trying to sell.

eBay also makes it possible to create an about me page. This is a very useful page that most sellers don't know about. Make sure you include information about your eBay store and you will be amazed at how many people click it.

A great way of promoting your store is to upgrade the level of store that you subscribe to. If you sell a lot of products every month then you might be able to justify upgrading to a featured store.

These few simple tips should be able to make eBay stores very profitable for anyone that wants to try using them.
