When doing research to find the best pressure washer for my business I stumbled upon what the difference was between an industrial pressure washer and a residential pressure washer. I wanted a durable pressure washer that would last throughout the years along with an affordable price. I saw that the residential washers were much cheaper than the commercial grade and I was already snagged on the price. Before coming to a conclusion with buying a residential I went and did a comparison to make sure which one was right for me, the industrial or the residential.
The residential units had the features I needed, but how good would it be towards harder projects such as getting the oil off of my driveway. I also live next to the ocean and am worried about how likely they are to corrode and rust. I wanted to get the best bang for my buck, but if I had to pay a little more to get a better product that would be all right with me too.
The industrial pressure washer were no doubt the top of the line and had all of the features that I needed and beyond. The features that came with them were a very durable and corrosion resistant casing, multiple options for the nozzles and hoses, higher powered engines that promised more psi, and multiple mode capabilities. The only downsides to these were the price. Do I really need all of these features?
When looking into the residential washers next I found that the features were pretty consistent except for a few. By paying less all I was losing was the multiple mode capability and the larger engines bringing more psi. I could live without this. I decided, based on my small standards, to go with the residential. So far it has done me well.
