When many parents are preparing food for their baby they tend to make a few meals at the same time and simply stored them in the refrigerator for later use. This is ideal especially in this fast-paced world and the fact that you have taken the time to make some homemade meals you know that the nutritional value of these is good as compared to prepackaged meals that you may buy in your local store. One big advantage that homemade meals have over prepackaged meals is that they do not have any preservatives because they are not going to be sitting on a shelf for months and months like in a store.
When you get home in the evening your baby may be hungry so you know it's going to take time for thawing frozen meals, does come be time-consuming and you would want to take something out first thing in the morning if you want to be naturally thawing during the day but let's be real many of us remember that when we are trying to get everybody out the door first thing in the morning. There are a few things you can do to help speed up this thawing because you certainly do not want Mother Nature to do all this for you.
You can place the frozen meals into some cold water as this can help to speed up the process. This really works well if we change the water every 30 minutes or so. Some people suggest that if you have running water on the food this will also help speed it up even quicker. If you have time you can place the frozen food into their fridge. Unfortunately if you are in any kind of a pea curry this may take too long you can generally take a few hours for the effect of thawing to occur.
You must remember never to leave thawing food at room temperature for more than two hours. When food is frozen it is safe to once it starts to thaw any bacteria that is present can start to resurrect and then multiply. This can cause issues and it's just something you need to be aware of.
