Steps to get your ex girl friend back involve using common sense for the most part. They involve doing things you already know such as accepting responsibility for what you do, showing consideration and appreciation for your girlfriend and most of all letting her know you care.

Since we all are different and have different thoughts, you will have to use these steps to get your ex girlfriend back by gearing it to her individually, her wants, desires, likes and dislikes. However, no matter how different each one of us is, we all share the desire to be liked, appreciated, needed and wanted. In all of these steps, you are required to do some thinking about what went wrong with your relationship and then finally is it worthwhile for you to change a little. Change your attitude, your conduct and see to it that it stays changed to reestablish and preserve your relationship?

Step One: Your ex girlfriend has probably been trying to tell you something for a long time before the relationship broke up. You possibility ignored what she was telling you because you took her for granted and did not like what she was telling you. I was not personally there so I personally do not know what it was but I am sure that you do. What did she dislike about what you were doing to the point where the relationship ended? What about consideration? Did you show her consideration, care at all about her opinion? You probably did not get along. Now you must ask yourself what was the difficulty.

Step Two: Did you try talking to her? Talk can be a great healer and with it I don't mean argue. Present your side of the case in a rational intelligent way and truly listen to what she has to say. I would suggest that after you have thought of this whole situation over, you call her up and talk. I do mean talk, not shout or raise your voice, if you cannot keep your temper under control, do not do it. Think about the things you may not have done that may have been important to her, little things in life count a lot. How many times did you tell her she looked great? Did she look especially nice in a new outfit? Did you say so? Did she try to do something for you to make your life more comfortable, pleasanter, make you happy? How do you respond? Do you do anything to show she is appreciated? In your next meeting, show some consideration. Carry heavy packages for her, open doors, think of ways to make you indispensable.

Step Three: Think about the time when you first met, something about you attracted her or it would have never reached this point. What was it? You were probably on your best behavior, so was she and I am sure that helped a lot. You probably began to take her for granted. What quality about you do you think drew her to you? If you have a friend or relative that can talk to her reasonably and find out her side of the story, just what went wrong with the relationship and when did it began to go wrong, it might help a lot. Have this person convey the information to you. Think about everything he says or conveys.

Step Four: Can you accept her, and her family and friends as they are? They have all become a part of your life if she is in it. Add house pets to that which may or may not become a big issue.

Step Five: Would you be willing to change anything about yourself for her? Just how much do you want to change to get this relationship back and on the road?
