What is Power4Home?
It is a home power system designed to teach you to build your own home power system. It uses solar panels and windmills to harness environmental energy into power for your home. It was developed as a personal project by Home Energy Expert John Russell. When he found out how efficient (and lucrative!) his system was, he decided to market the idea and, while doing so, also make a positive impact on the environment. Using the instructional videos and the resource books, you can adapt this system for your home.

How is it different from ready to assemble Home Power Systems?
While ready made systems maybe provide all the components, they cost 5 times more than when you buy the components and building it yourself, which is what Power4Home teaches you to do. All the supplies you need are available at your local hardware and the assembly is not much different from putting together the ready made kits. If you are an avid do-it-yourself kind of person this will hardly be a challenge.

What are the advantages of this system?
Using this system, you can cut an average of 74% to 80% off of your average monthly electric bill. This amounts to huge savings over time. Some are fortunate enough to be in a position to generate surplus electricity. You can store this for future use (this is also included in the instruction) or you can sell it to electric company and make them pay you for a change! You can do all this while doing a great service to the environment. If you are the entrepreneurial type, you can make a business of constructing systems for your neighbors and good even more good.

How do I learn this system?
The Power4Home system consists of 3 resource books that will guide you through the process. For visual learners, these are supplemented by 3 instructional videos that contain details instructions that show you how to do it. Check you Power4Home for more information.
