Potty Train Puppy - Tips to Potty Train Your Puppy Without a Crate!

The very first thing you need to do is establish the rules and where your puppy is allowed to eliminate. It's a good idea to set up at least 2 spots to start Potty Train Puppy with. One should be outside where your o.k. with them peeing and pooping in, the other on a potty pad or newspaper will work just find, by the door they'll be using to go outside.

When you're using newspaper or the pad set it up within 6 feet of the door and each day or two slowly move it closer to the door. Once it's just inside the door move it outside and let your puppy keep on using it... for a few more days and then completely remove it. At this stage of your training the task is nearly complete. Remember to praise them a lot.

Until your dog is completely trained don't allow them to have the run of the house. Confine them to the rooms that you'll be in to...that way you can keep your eye on them. Be sure to close off areas where there not allowed. Baby gates work great for confining them to a practically room. Keep Watch and be ready to act!!

Try to have a few days that you can spend with your dog to give Potty Train Puppy routine time to sink in. Just a word of caution...puppies are fast...one minute their playing the next minute their pooping on the floor. Watch for sniffing the floor, making circles, whining and darting off into a corner these are all signs of peeing or pooping.

Keep up with positive reinforcement, persistence and understanding these are the essential rules to be successful at your task of Potty Train Puppy

Your dog is only a puppy a few short months of its entire life, so why not enjoy this special time and make the best of it resulting in a better behaved adult dog to enjoy for years to come!

Keep in mind that it's very important NOT to scold puppy if you didn't catch them in the act! If you do catch them in the act...scold them immediately and take them outside or to the spot inside and when there finished praise them!
