A charitable disposition is a virtue, to assist those in need. Charitable disposition is possible only when one is benevolent and has the quality of compassion.

A charitable person engages himself in good deeds by helping poor and helpless person, service to society, constructing religious places, hospital, public places, make facility of well/ponds/drinking water, give food and shelter to needy person, constructing spiritual dwelling/sanctuary/loges etc.
Factors responsible for a charitable disposition:

· Ascendant: stands for personality.

· 2nd house: indicates wealth, depth of knowledge
