Far too often, the most critical and outspoken eco-alarmists lash out at the industrial capitalists of our present period without realizing all they've done for us, or recognizing how they used free-markets to accomplish the goals they'd set for themselves to clean up our environment. This is quite unfortunate, and it is a complete misunderstanding on the side of the eco-Earth types.

You see, most of the really big projects being done to clean up the environment have come from those who are not eco-alarmists but rather those who have the means and wealth, and yes, power to make it happen. Therefore, those who tear down the industrial capitalists rather than working with them do a disservice to our society, civilization, economy, and the environment.

Not to mention the fact that they spur on eco-terrorists and give them credibility or even join them in their efforts. This is maddening and must stop. Not long ago, an acquaintance and I use that really loosely, contacted me and stated; "My grandfather's, my father's generation, and my generation have polluted a lot. I'm sure you drove once a 1970s or 1980s car, and left a few kilograms in the air. If you don't feel the least of guilt, then I'm not sure what kind of "think tank" we are talking about."

Indeed, I did drive a car back then, and yes, I run a Think Tank, but back then I was also on the advisory committee of the Los Angeles TMA; Transportation Management Association and we created a scheme to give free mobile car washes to those who car-pooled to work, so whereas, I did drive a car, I also assisted in preventing many cars from being on the road by using a free market approach getting folks to car pool.

Further, such comments are way off base, and I use this as an example, because these types of condemnations usually are. Indeed, that's funny, because I've been doing lots of wonderful things, inventing innovations and inventions, and have always done my part to make the world a better place, locally, regionally, nationally, and have written about international issue to provide awareness, on water conservation, water filtration, and reduction of air pollution. And so have most of the real capitalists I've met. So, let's not condemn capitalism or charge it with all our civilization's environmental problems.

But when it comes to guilt, I do not participate and do not believe it is a wise thing in that regard. I do not and will never feel guilty for being alive. Plus, I've done so much to help things. I cannot beat my head against a wall to try to convince folks to follow; I lead by example, thus, live without guilt. Those eco-socialist-attackers on the far-left extreme are the real problem, and they are causing a huge divide and hurting our civilization's infrastructure, and causing innovative solutions to never come into being. Do not accept their invitation to feel guilty; do not fall into their hands. Please consider all this.
