Pick Up Lines To Get Girls - Grounding And Storytelling

Most guys don't realize how much more there is to seducing women than just pick up lines to get girls. There are two concepts that are also very important, and these are grounding and storytelling.

Your grounding routine is basically your life story. You talk about how you got to be who you are today in terms of your identity. For example, Mystery starts talking about how he wanted to be a magician and he had his own magic show. The point is to show how the influences of your life have turned you into who you are today identity-wise.

I start grounding early on, telling girls that I'm a writer. What I might say is something like, 'You guys are in trouble now because I'm a writer, and that means I'm arrogant enough to believe that everyone should listen to what I have to say.' I'm demonstrating parts of my personality in a way that's really unique. That's the whole point - to show how your life experiences translated into your personality.

I also tell a story about how I had three sisters growing up. I say things like, 'You know, growing up with sisters you always see how guys mess up and how women think differently from men.

Storytelling is something you have to be good at to seduce women. Anybody can learn it but you've got to learn the basic elements. First, what's the most important part of the story? It should be the punch line, the ending. I used to get bad reactions with my stories. Girls would say, 'Then what happened?' I was like, 'What do you mean? That's the end of the story.' In other words, it bombed.

When it comes to attraction, you've got three different endings for your stories - a laugh, an 'awe, that's cute,' or 'that's interesting.' You can tell if your stories suck or not by listening to the reaction. If it's not one of those three, you need to go back to the drawing board.

Content is the second thing that's important. It needs to be more emotional than logical. Don't just recount facts and data, but tell them how you felt. That's what they'll relate to.

Finally, characters are important. Stories are only as good as their characters. You can paint your characters with funny voices, weird facial expressions or ridiculous quirks. Work on your stories and use them to help move things along. They work much better than pick up lines to get girls.
