Pick Up Beautiful Women With Your Storytelling Skills

Storytelling is really powerful when you're trying to pick up beautiful women, especially during the qualification phase of the encounter. It gives you an opportunity to tell her things about yourself.

How do you get into a good story? There are several general ways to transition a story. You don't just start blabbing it out of nowhere. It's not socially polite to suddenly change the subject either.

One is to use a phrasal transition. These are just linking phrases that connect two subjects. The best one is 'That reminds me of...' or 'That's just like when...' Whatever somebody else said, that just reminded you of something. It seems spontaneous but it's really a lead-in to your story.

Cold reads are also good. These can be transitioned into stories. You can say something like, 'You know, you remind me of my friend Sarah. She's kind of like the character Samantha in Sex and the City, and yesterday she gave me a call.' What you're basically saying is that the girl reminds her of Samantha from Sex and the City.

Observation is great for transitioning. Notice something about her like her shoes and use that as a lead in to a story. Observations can be real or canned. They're best, of course, when they're real, but it's also useful to have a few ready. For example, you might be talking to a girl and say, 'Oh yeah, when I was in London something like that happened to me.' Now, you're ready to start in on your story.

Your stories should only be between about 30 seconds and a minute and a half. Anything more than that and you risk losing their attention. You should always be aware of the flow of the conversation when you're telling stories. If she's not giving you much information and you're telling story after story, you need to check in. This is when you throw out something to see if she's listening. Or you need to get her talking by saying something like, 'Has that ever happened to you?'

Stories are driven by good characters and an unexpected ending. The ending is like the punch line of a joke. It has to be good, or else she'll be like, 'So?' Try out your stories and pay close attention to what works and what doesn't. Stories are great when you want to pick up beautiful women and they just take some preparation and practice.
