Dragon Age II is the successor of "Dragon Age: Origins". It is unlike the previous one. The game revolves around a voiced human character called "Hawke" - a refugee who rises to power who is the central character in the story. He is left a refugee after his town was devastated by Darkspawn.
The story brings about his journey to gain power and rise to it. His decisions are correlated to the world bringing it to the edge of war. The story has been set in Free Marches in the city of Kirk Wall. There are a number of threats that pose a danger to world peace. This is how the story begins. As the gamer follows Hawke's raising to power, the time frame set is 10 years. This is a very interactive game as the choices you make is directly related to the consequences of the story.
It is not mandatory to play the first version of the game - Dragon Age Origins. The story is set a decade after the first game. The first version can be imported to understand the storyline. The game can be played in three different classes - Warrior, mage, Rogue. The player has an option to choose the character each with a different attribute. The game has been made very exciting as the abilities of the character can be customized. The trailer explains the level of realism with still the story hidden.
This game is will be releasing in March 8, 2011 for America and two days later in Europe.
