Palm Pre - Offering Completely a New System
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

Palm Pre is rated as latest handset from Palm Inc. Innovative advancement offered by this handset is Card System. It allows users to view all the open windows by just pressing the key located at the bottom. Available options are either using the open windows or to dispose it for a fresh screen. There is a gesture area to swipe and navigate through applications. Sliding out QWERTY keypad is added attraction of this mobile.

Lot of connectivity features:
The first thing Palm Pre calls is Synergy. This allows users to assemble together contacts and schedules from calendars from different sources. However, this does not changes the data already stored in the set. Connectivity can be availed from Palmweb, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB and CDMA. Applications on the handset are based on Linux. The feature Synergy takes out contacts from Gmail, Facebook and Outlook Express to put these together as information for the users. Further chances are picking up the data from calendars and IM services. It is possible to enhance the scope of pulling out data from SMS, GTalk and AIM in threaded mode of storage.

The display:
It has a highly responsive touch screen with 320 x 480 pixel resolution and presents pleasingly firm and fresh looking images. Under too bright conditions, glossy multi touch screen makes the viewing dull. There is ripple effect on touched part of the screen offering a feel of interactive response.

The ability of multitasking:
Launching an application is quite convenient on Palm Pre. One needs to just press the key in the front to let the applications appear as new cards to use the preferred application. One can easily jump from one application to another; for example, viewing file to previously going music to changig it, answering the message and again back to viewing and so on without difficulty.

Conclusively Palm Pre is a mobile many will agree to be somewhat excessively fascinating handset.
