Paintball Uses Other Than for Fun

For the most part paintball is known to North Americans and other Western nations as a game played for fun and recreation. Unfortunately for the game, it is being used in other cultures for something less than having fun.

Police in Chechnya are firing paintball guns at women who do not wear headscarves in public. It is another attempt to use force on women to conform to the iron-fisted strongmen's ideal version of Islamic Law on the Russian province.

Human Rights activist are strongly opposing Chechnya's strongman Ramzon Kadyrov. His police squadrons are enforcing rules that violate the Russian Constitution.

One women,who is an eyewitness and a victum of the paintball paint said," A car carrying men in military uniforms slowed down to approach us, one started filming on his mobile phone and when they sped away we noticed paint all over our clothes.".

In the past month witnesses tell, Reuters, multiple incidents where men are dressed in camouflage fire paintballs at women without a headscarf. The cars have tinted windows. Camouflage is the common dress for Chechen police and security officers

The Russian rights group "Memorial" states they believe police are behind these attacks on women faces and necks. The local papers claim there have been more than a dozen attacks recently.

The paintballer distributed a flier in the city of Gudermes. It says," Isn't it nasty for you, while dressed defiantly, with your heads uncovered, to hear various obscene compliments and proposals? Think again!".

Because there has been two separatist wars with Moscow, and now there is sort of stability. Moscow is keeping silent about these human rights abuses. The Kremlin allows Kadyrov to run Chechnya like a personnel fiefdom and lets him impose his version of Islam.

Another terrorist tacit used for training terrorists to kill is the Fort Dix terror plot suspects. Prosecutors argued that the defendants of the Fort Dix terror plot case used paintball and paintball games to train for an attack against the Army training center. The Defense Lawyers argued the boys were just having fun......some fun. Defendant Shain Duke told another defended, caught on tape, that paintball is a good training too. The statement declared the men were planning for an attack.

The last example of paintball not being used as a game is in Montana. A newly opened paintball course had to be shut down after the order from disintegrating paintballs were attracting bears.

Big Sky Marketing Director Dax Schieffer says the resort tired to find a green paintball. They used a vegetable oil that can attack grizzlies. The bears were eating unexploded paintballs. Schieffer says the workers are now trying to find paintball that will not attract bears.
