PTSD and Poverty Relieved When We Thank God for Our Blessings

Expert Author Risa Ruse

This is how we combat thoughts that haunt with regret.
A tip is to start to count blessings so that the past we can forget.

Fear proliferates when we continue to ponder repercussions from our PTSD.
The weapon to succeed is to let go of it all and live in the present, you see.

A shared strategy is the knowledge that we cannot fix the past.
Acknowledging what was done was done will bring happiness at last.

What should we do though when we are swimming in poverty's providence?
Recall that we still have the air to breathe and are living as evidence.

Thankfulness in our five senses that work is another tip.
Guidance comes when we allow God to steer our life's ship.

We can freely breathe the aroma of fresh-baked bread.
The fragrances of beautiful flowers are perfume for our head.

Be grateful for a friend who calls or emails us when sadness sets in.
Hope comes when we choose to hear Holy pure thoughts without sin.

We can smile when we feel the weight of a 3 pound newborn baby.
Then let us contemplate how life is precious too for us maybe.

Another strategy to heal is the ability to talk so we can walk that walk.
Listening to others' testimony of hope we can put down our own squawk.

A plan to relieve poverty starts in our head.
Thoughts of goodness and fortune should flood instead.

Faith comes to those who patiently and persistently wait.
Blessings become bountiful for us with positive thoughts to contemplate.

There is a secret from the science of the mind about lack.
It is only through poverty that we learn a lesson to get prosperity back.

A prayer to attract prosperity is, "God please create a grateful heart in me."
Only when we see the gifts that we have been given will more shower from heaven.

Change will come from using daily positive affirmations.
Giving thanks to God frees fear and is our obligation.

Now what we contemplate comes to us physically from our mind.
Thinking grateful thoughts will benefit us--spilling out to all of mankind!
