Overcome Procrastination - 3 Tips to Help You Stop Procrastinating

For many people who would like to be successful their chances of achieving their desired goals are doomed to fail as they suffer from a condition known as procrastination. However, if they really would like to improve their life they need to know how to overcome procrastination.

In this article we offer some tips that you like so many others will find helpful in achieving what you desire.

Tip 1 - Each day create your "to do" list. At the top of this place those tasks which are urgent and which you either don't feel you have the confidence or time to complete. Having a "to do list" helps you to start chopping away at the things that need to be done ensuring that you don't become distracted as you try to complete them. Each time a task is completed on that list then mark it off but putting very thick lines through it.

Tip 2 - It is best when you have any particular tasks you need to do that you complete the harder ones initially and then move on to the easier tasks afterwards. This will help to make you feel that when doing the easier ones you are almost resting. Also make sure that you make it clear to others that whilst carrying out any tasks that you are not interrupted. The less interruption as you work the more chance you have to dedicating time to ensuring that the task will be completed.

Tip 3 - It is a good idea to treat yourself once every task that is on your "to do" list is completed. Doing this will help you to remain focused on achieving your goals and also motivate you more when they become a little more difficult.
