Optimize Computer Performance - How to Optimize a PC System

If a computer has become indispensable for you in the daily life, I think it is indispensable to learn how to optimize the system. The computer, like a machine, needs proper protection and maintenance to keep its performance in the high level. Otherwise, it may run slower and slower, even go awry easily.

In this regard, you are bound to know how to optimize computer performance in case any unexpected accident happens, though your computer is still working very well. And, you can find the satisfactory answers in this article.

Close down the system restore function. It is not so useful but occupies a large number of spaces. Right-click "My Computer" to open "System Properties", in the "System Restore" tab, tick "Turn off System Restore" and click "Apply" and "OK", you can shut it down.

Close down error report because it is helpful for Microsoft directly but not for you. Also in the "System Properties", click "Advanced" > "Error Reporting", in the tab, you can choose "Disable error reporting". Now you can forbid reporting the errors so that free up plenty of spaces.

Besides, you should not put so many files or icons on the desktop. If you do not use some frequently, it is better for you not to put them on it. And, you also need to reduce the starting loading items as many as possible. Some programs are not used often since being installed. It is advisable for you not to load them when starting. You can also move application and documentary install to other directory rather than in the systematic ones.

All of these are good ways to optimize computer performance by freeing up space. Moreover, do not forget defragment your disk. Regular defragmentation is quite helpful to speed up computer obviously by removing a pile of junk files. You can have a try in the Accessories.
