When you have been distracted or disrupted and are feeling frustrated because you are unable to stay focused on your work flow, remember that your attitude has the power to enhance or hinder you, thus you need to adopt a perspective that all distractions or disruptions are temporary.
As each disruption or distraction arises, simply remind yourself that it poses only a temporary slow down in your work flow. You can shift your focus on how to deal with whatever has risen and find a course of action.
When you choose to focus on the fact that obstacles are temporary, you can avoid making mountains out of molehills, thus you can easily return to a smooth and continuous work flow. An attitude that obstacles are only temporary helps you develop a more flexible, efficient approach to work, which allows you to accomplish your tasks with ease instead of being derailed by frustration. With a conscious attitude that obstacles are temporary you can create the right mind-set to enhance your work flow.
"Success, Sir Winston Churchill, once said, is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm." With that in mind, you can decide that distractions or disruptions are temporary and you have the ability to go from one disruption or distraction to another with no loss of enthusiasm.
By remembering that obstacles are temporary, you can empower yourself with a mind-set of perseverance that allows you to stay focused, thus keeping your work flow consistent. It is seldom the obstacles themselves that hinder your progress, but rather your reaction to the obstacles.
