Nokia N97 Mini is a bit smaller than its big brother n97 in terms of size, but the features are comparatively more powerful. Many people are wondering what made Nokia to announce a new version of n97 within some three months of its release. The phone is not doing the kind of business that Nokia expected and that might be the reason that they are bringing in Mini with some tweaks and alterations. The camera can record video files with VGA at 30fps also.

The connectivity aspect is maintained by Bluetooth, WLAN, and EDGE while GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 are the network supported by this device. The difference of price between Nokia N97 Mini and its sibling is not that much sufficient. Hence, it is to be seen how this handset fares in the market after its release, which is expected to be around October 2009.
