Searching for scholarships can be quite time consuming. Especially if you have to attach an essay to your scholarship application. Sometimes you just want to find some easy, no essay required scholarship giveaways to apply for, as usually these are more fun and you never know, you could be the next winner.

Most scholarship opportunities that you come across want you to either have perfect grades, hours and hours of logged community service, or a poverty income level. And usually these scholarships, though financially well worth winning, take a lot of time to complete.

There are also two scholarships that I know of in which all that is required to win, is to have a certain last name. One is the last name of Van Valkenburg. For this one you have to graduate by June 2010 and be attending an accredited college or training and certificate program. Plus you have to be a descendant of Lambert and Annetje Van Valkenburg. The other name scholarship is for the name Zolp. This scholarship is limited to those attending Loyola University. You must be Roman Catholic and have the last name Zolp on your birth certificate.

These are not the only no essay required scholarship giveaways that you can enter. There are also scholarships for left handed students, one for students who are over 6 feet 2 inches (5 feet 10 inches if female), and one for students who are under 4 feet 10 inches tall.
