Nintendo Wii Systems - Prices

So you've decided to get a Nintendo Wii system for your house, but have no clue where to start?  Well there are several reasons why you chose this video game system out there, but there are things that you shouldn't do when looking to buy your Nintendo Wii system.  What you shouldn't do is pay the retail prices for them, but I have to agree that the Nintendo Wii is worth every penny, right now in our economy we should try and cut corners.  Cutting corners though doesn't have to mean you're cutting quality out your purchase.

Where to Find Used Nintendo Wii Consoles

OK, so now that I told you not to buy your Wii system at retail, I should offer advice on where to find these video consoles used right?  The absolute cheapest way you can find a used Nintendo Wii is probably through a classified, but there are tons of red flags here and this is an option I wouldn't recommend you taking unless you know the seller well.  One reason why I wouldn't buy through a local ad is because all sales are final.  Usually there are no testers verifying that the unit works and often times all sales are final. 

One option I recommend and have done myself is through and online store or auction.  But wait, didn't I just told you not to pay retail?  Well, you're not.  There are auction stores online offering quality customer returned Nintendo Wii systems from brick and mortar retail stores.  Now, because these Wii systems are open box and maybe its missing something small and miniscule, there's your chance for big savings.  Also, some of these auction sites have testers for quality control unlike those bigger auctions like eBay where you have no clue at times if the item is working.
