Entering affiliate marketing as a novice is somewhat daunting and quite frankly a bit risky. Let's face it, deep down do you really believe in get rich schemes? Since when were you able to get something for nothing in this life? So why should MLM marketing or affiliate marketing be any different? It isn't! Sorry.

The first thing you must do is look past all the get rich quick schemes and they're easy to identify i.e. ad with nice girl, nice car/boat, lots of money (sign here and it's all yours) lazy this and easy that! If you are Lazy I've got bad news for you and you can stop reading here, you going to have to WORK!

If you have some experience in life, it's clear you get out only what you put in. In terms of affiliate marketing that means investing time and money .If you don't invest , how can you expect to see a return? You have to learn to earn! This is why this field isn't for everyone, without instant success 80% drop out complaining, about what exactly I don't know, considering the effort invested was minimal.

STEP 1 : Find the right program
Do your research, find a program that doesn't seem cheap and tacky. Look for a multilayered program with more than 1 income stream. Ask to see some proof of success.

Step 2 : Identify your market
Which means attracting serious people who want to invest time and money over the long term. Not someone who wants to get rich quick and then drop out disappointed . Quality traffic not quantity. One of my big mistakes when I started out.

Step 3 : Directing the market towards your links
Learn how to attract traffic to your referral links (which your program will provide) using free and paid methods.
Free Article Writing , blogging, using free ads on business forums, forums, traffic exchanges, you tube, face book .
Paid PPC campaigns e.g Google AdWords Yahoo search Marketing etc.
