New Jobs Are Calling!

Recession is slowly fading out and candidates are again called for interviews after long lull in new recruitment. Companies which are recovering from recession blues are recruiting again. But they are taking lot of precautions while recruiting. Due to fear of uncertain future, companies are taking care in selecting the right candidates for the right job. They are assessing the abilities of the candidates keeping in view of their delivering capabilities. Companies are looking for experienced who can help them in realizing long term goals. You too have to rebuild your wardrobe to resumes to suit the jobs which you are applying to start afresh.

Ready to join anywhere: Always think before starting job search whether the area is good to see for new jobs. Are there enough opportunities and placement agencies to meet the needs? Find out in other places also in your City. You may not get job related to your qualifications, experience and skills. Search the job sites on the internet. Write different resumes for different jobs and do not send the same resume for different jobs. Do not forget to attach covering letter mentioning about your qualifications, experience and skills with reasonable adjectives.

Meet your old friends: Call your old pals or meet them to identify opportunities. This will help you to assess your job market. Instead of sending blindly many resumes, you can identify the right job for you, if you talk to your friends openly.

Do not get disappointed: If you do not get call from prospective employer, do not get disappointed. Think that somebody more experienced got the job. Do not have any restrictions with regard to attending the interview in the same company again.

Overcome your weaknesses: Identify your strengths and weaknesses. Try hard to overcome your weaknesses. Why mistakes are happening again and again? Practice simple questions like 'Why you want to join this company?' 'Where you will see yourself after five years from now'? Have a grip on current affairs with regular reading of news papers and general knowledge books.

If you are free after completion of education for more time, you may have to answer unwanted questions which may be troublesome. Do not hesitate to join for less salary in the beginning. Do not neglect even it is a part time or temporary job. If the Management is satisfied with your performance, that may become full time and permanent job for you.
