When you generate your own leads though, you need to thoroughly rinse your head out about selling. You can't be in the position of a salesperson when you are being sought out. You need to now be an authority figure. You need to show the way. You need to be a leader

Leadership, is the one important quality you need to develop if you are going to be a success in your network marketing company. It is commonly said that people want to be led... I disagree with that statement. People want to associate with people who have authority. The best way to have authority is to develop knowledge that other folks in your industry are dying to learn.

If you can show someone how to generate leads, for example, that means you have something darn few others have to offer and you just became an expert. Leaders are experts and know how to teach others how to succeed by sharing their specialized knowledge.

Now let me share something else with you, no matter how many people you recruit, 70 or 80 percent of them are essentially unable to succeed. There is absolutely nothing you can do to change that. Once you are finally in recruiting mode, one of your key jobs is to be able to quickly figure out who is paying attention. You do that by developing systems that will make success tools available. Once you have done that it becomes a matter of seeing who picks up the tools and builds something with them.

So let me get back to the starting premise of generating leads. To generate leads you need to learn how to develop traffic to a specific type of recruiting website. Once you learn how to generate traffic you are well on your way to 20 or 30 leads a day coming in to you. Did you catch that... coming in to you? I am sure you can easily imagine what your state of mind is when you don't care about whether or not a lead works out because you have 20 or 50 more and another batch tomorrow and the next day and pretty much forever.

Your thinking and posture change permanently. Now for the first time you are really in charge of your business and your plans. Things suddenly just start working out for you. The transformation is nothing short of a miracle. You will find yourself transformed.
