Check the Better Business Bureau to find if it there are any reports on the company. Type the name into a search engine and see what the results are. If there are negative reviews or postings, read them. If they seem like legitimate issues that result from the company you might want to rethink it. If they seem like problems with unrealistic expectations or a crooked recruiter, then consider contacting the company for more information.

Whatever you decide to do, remember that there are more legitimate network marketing opportunities than there are scams, and for someone willing to work and driven to succeed they can result in great success.
