Not too long ago, while I was searching the Internet researching different kinds network marketing information, I realized just how much hype there is in the marketplace and how easy it is to think you must compete by hyping your product or service. It got me thinking about how difficult it is for the new network marketer or affiliate marketer to really break thorough all that hype.

I've seen a lot of zombie movies lately.

Just the other day I watched "28 Weeks Later" and have to admit it scared me senseless... I can't seem to get the parallels between zombies and many network marketers out of my head.

The factor that is so frightening about zombies is their complete lack of personality. Behind the bloodshot eyes, no-one is home. No thought process, no feelings, no words, their one drive is unadulterated rage.

The Zombie Mission Statement: "Create More Zombies!"

Their personality is gone. . . one zombie is just as smart as any other zombie. Whatever virus they catch turns them into zombie-making machines.

They don't recognize their friends or family. For my money zombies are the scariest monster in film. Watch "28 Weeks Later" and I bet you'll agree. The monsters in that movie have lost everything that makes them "human" except their bodies.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

Google the keyword "make money" or "network marketing" and you'll see them. . . the faceless, nameless zombie websites pedaling their "get rich" opportunities and follow our "proven system" products with no true thought of the consumer.

Zombies think with enough numbers you'll make sales, and they're right. But this just means more replicated websites to making more zombies. This nameless, faceless hoard, markets their opportunity and company - abandoning their "selves," abandoning their one marketable asset-themselves.

They build their companies' business and are often left unrewarded for their work.

I can think of no more horrible existence. . . why? Because I've seen the dark side and it's horrible; yes I've been a zombie network marketer.

You are driven by one compulsion - money. Value doesn't play.

You offer nothing other than "opportunity." Logic doesn't matter.

You don't recognize your friends and family. They're just prospective zombie networkers like yourself.

I'm not saying networking is bad.

It's just sad that an industry with so much promise seems to be being run by a bunch of faceless and nameless monsters driven by one factor, greed.
