Music And The X Factor

It is widely known and believed across the world that music is the best source of relaxation for any individual who is under stress. The basic and the most important component of music that appeals to the audience at large is the singer. The singer and his or her voice are the ideal parameters of a recorded song but for live performances, the X factor is what matters most.

The public image of the singer along with his or her attitude speaks in volume about the band and the music of the band. There are various reality shows on television today that give a chance to new and budding singers. In a world where new and upcoming singers find it increasingly difficult to find a strong foot hold, these reality shows come as a breather. Al these shows have a more or less fixed set of 3 judges who are given charge of judging various qualities of a performer.

For instance, American Idol is perhaps the most famous reality show that is on TV. The show is credited for starting the entire trend of reality TV shows. The judges on the show are Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, and Randy Jackson. Paula Abdul is in charge or judging the vocal abilities of a contestant while Randy Jackson basically keeps an eye on the marketability of the singer. Simon Cowell on the other hand, is a famous critic who judges not only the vocal capabilities of a singer, but also judges the X factor along with the ability to bring in the crowds.

Besides American Idol, there are various other contests on TV today that offer the winner a sound footing in the music industry. NBC's America's Got Talent, is as the name suggests a reality show that looks for genuinely talented people from across the United States of America. Various other people, including highly famous Sharon Osbourne, have judged reality shows across the world. Sharon Osbourne once judged a show called The X Factor in the United Kingdom.

As the name suggests, the show dealt with X factor in people and then selected the very best. Various people, including (Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, and Leon Jackson) from across the world have won competitions through out the world. Their success can be attributed to their vocal abilities to some extent, but a major part of their success depends on their attitude and their X factor. A good contestant is therefore expected to possess a good amount of X factor besides the obvious talent that the show requires.
