If you are already in a MLM business...I think you will know what I am talking about.

My experience with MLM is with the company Monavie. It's a great company and the product is awesome...it's a health juice...I still buy the juice because I love it and I know it has great health benefits. But the business is a totally different story.

This was my first attempt at a multi level marketing business and I feel that I gave it my all. Before I would even approach anybody about the Monavie juice product, I bought it and drank it for a good couple of months to make sure that this was not "snake juice." I even had my husband drinking it. We both had positive results from the juice; more energy, better sleep, less aches and pains. So I knew the product was legit.

So we both started to "share the product" with friends and family. We spent money on pamphlets and other promotional print info to hand out to prospective customers, this was also purchased from Monavie. We did home parties sometimes as many as 4-5 per week, traveling to other peoples homes to help them out and get started in the business...this was all done in the evenings and on weekends...time beyond our regular jobs.

We also did several hotel meetings, having someone from our up line in the company come and speak on the company's behalf, always promoting "how easy" the business is and that "all you have to do is share the juice!"

Yea right! It's not that easy! You see, in order to make money in a MLM business, the product must be bought on a regular basis. With Monavie, in order to get paid you MUST buy a case of the product once per month...it's called auto ship. Well, that dosen't sound so bad, but a case of Monavie is only four bottles at a cost of about $130.00 plus shipping and it will last one person only one month. Monavie is a great product, but it is not cheap by any means.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL MLM BUSINESSES...people sign up and then they drop out! This is where the dancing part comes in...it's like TWO steps forward and then THREE steps backwards. With the economy the way that it is (so crappy!) many people do not have extra money to be spending on products like this, even if they do work.

The point that I am trying to make is that if you are thinking of joining a MLM business...you will ALWAYS CONTINUALLY have to work this business to keep it going and you will need hundreds, if not thousands of sign ups in your down line to make and kind of real money...the drop out rate in this economy is just too guaranteed.

Whatever business you decide to do...do your do diligence and research it. Many of these companys advertise hype and fluff about making a ton of money in no time...it's just NOT real...don't be sucked in like I was...please learn from my mistakes..I spent a lot of my time and money promoting a MLM business...and I have nothing but a tax write off to show for it!
