Most People Do Not Plan to Fail, They Just Fail to Plan

You have probably already planned a vacation in your life. This makes sense; with the limited amount of vacation time you have, you definitely do not want to ruin it. Did you ever consider how short life is, how valuable time really is, and that you do not want to spoil them either? You would probably do well to plan and make the most of your life. You have this one life, yet you can take several vacations. What if you could have your life exactly the way you wanted it? What if you were able to enjoy it on your terms? What if you planned your life and then just showed up for your vacations? You could have more free time, with more freedom, nonchalance, and enjoyment, thus being more relaxed and able to enjoy the down time when you are off work. Planning is a very efficient way to be more productive when you should and carefree when you want. Isn't it time to consider a new strategy that could yield you more?

If you are short on either cash or time, or both, then there is a solution for you. If the way things are going right now has not honestly given you 100% satisfaction, why not try slightly altering your approach for five to ten years? (Yes, five to ten years - planning, delayed gratification, and willpower are healthy traits to acquire, develop, and utilize. They come with time and practice, like anything else.) Instead of aimlessly going through the motions of life, make a great plan and follow it! Instead of telling yourself all along that things are good, yet sometimes having an uneasy feeling, have them be great! Create concrete results! Instead of thinking that you are better off than the next person (or you are at least keeping up with the Joneses), get ahead of them! Advance, progress, and achieve more with your money and with your time too. Plan your life as much as if not more than your vacations (and if you've been too busy to take a vacation, then it's time to have one - you deserve it).

It's so much fun to enjoy life, and deep down you probably know it's time to try something that works for sure. Remember when you were little and you had all those dreams of great things? Well you also had more time to dream as a kid, and now that is a luxury you may not be taking. So treat yourself to a great quality of life, by investing a little time into yourself right now. Plan out what you are going to accomplish during the next decade, with all the preparation that goes along with it. (Challenge the myriad brain cells which currently are being neglected; it is said that we do not even use 10% of our potential.) Then for your vacations, just for fun, do not have a plan. You can do it the way so many people handle life - just show up and let yourself go, with no real goals, clues, or purpose. It is really quite fun to take the time to relax and enjoy life stress free; try it.
