More Weight Loss Secrets Revealed! How I Stay So Slim!

Hello again! Are you ready to hear some more about my healthy weight loss secrets? I don't like the word "diet". My weight loss secrets are not a quick diet or lose weight fast trick. They are a life long commitment of making a difference in your health. I already revealed some of my tips. Here are a few more.

When you go shopping, try this. Go around the outer perimeter of the store first. Here you will find the majority of your most healthy basic foods: the fruits, vegetables, breads, meats and dairy products. Your four basic food groups! Provide yourself with wholesome food and snacks.

Now, take a look at the Food Pyramid. Come on, you know what I am referring to! Notice the tiniest tip top of the Food Pyramid represents your sugars, fats and oils. This is an area you REALLY need to pay attention to and to use sparingly! When doing your grocery shopping, keep a mental note of the Food Pyramid and if that inner impulse starts to reach for something that falls into that top tiny area, think, what can I substitute for this that is in the other parts of the Food Pyramid? For example I would substitute yogurt for anything like ice cream.

Crackers are not as bad as chips. Good old fashioned ice water is a good substitute for carbonated drinks. In fact I never drink sodas. I drink a whole lot of milk. I drink herbal tea with honey. Never sodas! Not even diet sodas! Take your time and really think about what you are bringing into your home and into your body. Not a diet! Not a list! Just make WHOLESOME choices!
