Today one of the most talked about and most effective forms of cellulite treatment is mesotherapy. It's been considered by many women to be the most long lasting cellulite treatment available today. In 1952 a doctor named Dr Michel Pistor invented a new technique that involved delivering medications below the skins surface and now today this technique that Dr Michel invented is being used to treat cellulite. The medications are injected into the body under the skin in specific areas to burn fat and it is injected in small doses.

How they work is the nutritional supplements and medications work together to melt fat cells which are also known as cellulite. There are four different stages of cellulite which is why based on your different stage of cellulite your doctor will base a cellulite treatment. During cellulite treatment the doctor injects the formula at set intervals around effected areas and the typical cellulite treatment session requires 15 sessions per area. When there is no cellulite visible, even while the skin is pinched, this is Stage 0.

When there is cellulite visible when the skin is picked but it is not visible standing or lying down, this is Stage 1. Stage 2 has cellulite visible when standing up but not lying down and stage 3 has cellulite visible when both standing and lying down. In Mesotherapy the main ingredient is called Aminophylline and is mainly used to treat asthma and another common ingredient is Phosphatidylcholine. This ingredient or PPC for short, will help dissolve the fat so it can go through the bloodstream and relieved on to the kidneys and bows.

There are risks to Mesotherapy just like any other cellulite treatment available today, but it's nothing serious as you can see. A slight risk of infection or a minor skin discoloration can occur and in some cases minor swelling or minor soreness may also occur that can last a few days.
