Don't try and replace the man that you have lost

You will be imagining that this new man has the same attributes as the man that you have lost and then you will be hurt and bewildered when you realise that he is his own person and has totally different qualities.

Don' t distort your memories

Another big mistake many women make is to put the man they have lost on to a pedestal. Suddenly that person becomes perfect in every way and all of the faults that he had disappear. No new man is ever going to be able to compete with that because quite simply that person never really existed.

Try to be positive. I know you never expected to be alone at your time of life, but stop whining and complaining that life is not fair. Instead think fondly of the good times that you shared and then put them to rest. You need to enter the world of mature dating without any baggage and that means putting your best foot forward as a mature confident, sexy woman that any man would be a fool to ignore.
