Since their college days, Tiffany and Mike was already a sweet couple. They would do all things together and were best friends. It was then expected and not surprising to know by their friends and families that Mike will propose after college. They got married and life became a working fairy tale for both of them. The union brought 2 lovely babies and a dog. A little swing set in their backyard was the evidence of their hard work. However, it dawned on Tiffany that the swing might collapse upon her on day.
It has been a couple of nights that Mike had been working late and wasn't able to help in putting the boys to sleep at night. It didn't bother Tiffany until she discovered an unknown phone number hastily scribbled on a white paper in Mike's pocket while doing laundry one day. She thought of Mike's late nights and linked that to the phone number she found. That made her stop and think with her heart beating for a minute or two.
The moments flashed to Tiffany as she reflected in all the things they have gone through. They have strived hard to get the wonderful life they have now and Tiffany was thinking how Mike could throw all things down the drain. Although she was unsure that Mike is being unfaithful, she couldn't stop thinking what the number is for. Maybe she was just dreaming and holding on to the fairy tale life that she once dreamed of.
Tiffany became a perturbed and was crying uncontrollably as soon as her best friend got to her house and her children were at school. After a week, Tiffany was surprised by Mike with an engagement ring that she had secretly been wishing for all these years. Mike wasn't able to afford it before their marriage and it was a solitaire ring with the date of their marriage engraved on the band.
Realizing that her fairy tale has not ended, tears of joy came falling from Tiffany's face as she can't think of Mike laughing at her about her mistake. It was not so, as she had threatened her best friend not to tell anyone about it including Mike.
