Marketing Using Facebook

If you are an internet marketer or thinking about going into internet marketing you may be interested to know what is happening on Facebook to use as a way of driving traffic to your website.

It certainly looks like the party is over for internet marketers, gone are the days of requesting twenty strangers or more as friends, I have experienced and many other marketers also that one or two per day is now the maximum.

For those who are just getting into the industry, Facebook was used as a great way of making new friends and subtly directing them to your website to hopefully buy from you.

Facebook see this as spamming and annoying the social communities, I would think they have software that detects low conversion rates from friends requests, once you have been flagged up you will more or less be unable to add new friends.

You could try setting up a second account but again the low conversion rate will quickly be flagged up and you would again be none operational wthin a week.,

There is no way around this as far as I can see, Facebook are a huge company now, they certainly do not need internet marketers, for the marketing community it is a huge blow, this decision by Facebook will take some deep planning and thinking on part of the marketing community, Facebook was used as a spring board for new marketers getting into the industry and making a flying start, from now on, that is certainly not going to be the case.
