Marilyn Monroe's name is spread on the four corners of pop culture as the "original" sex symbol long before Madonna and Kylie Minogue emerge. She is well recognized for her breathless voice, platinum blonde hair and voluptuous figure, a rare formula that drove her into smashing success in films. Although she indulge herself in numerous affairs, scandals and assaults, we still can't deny her huge impact in the world of entertainment being an A list actress in her own right. Her starting days in Hollywood were a struggle since she bounces to acting and modeling. She got her biggest break when she stared in Love Happy then posed as Playboy's first cover girl all at the same time. After that nude stint, she made five more films where she received positive feedbacks regarding her performance.

Many films followed shortly even after her marriage with first husband Joe DiMaggio. She did There's No Business Like Show Business as she portrayed Vicki, The Seven Year Itch where she showcased her remarkable comic side and the dramatic flick Bus Stop. She appeared in several films before her untimely death where she got an unfinished film Something's Got to Give. Her notorious absenteeism and cause of delay in shoots cause her disputes with her co-stars including Clark Gable, in which she was blamed for the latter's death due to heart attack. Her personal life is much more celebrated than her movie career as she wed three men in her lifetime not to add her numerous affairs with the most formidable people in the land.

She married James Dougherty, Joe DiMaggio and Arthur Miller but there are rumors that she dated the Kennedy brothers John and Robert and either one of them is responsible for her death. She died at 36 for acute barbiturate poisoning but up till now, officials can't list it as suicide due to lack of evidence. She led a glamorous life that ended in tragic death, but still we can't deny her greatest contribution in Hollywood and pop culture.
