Have you ever seen something and thought, "I wonder what the heck that could mean?"
I do that all the time.
You know, the funny thing is, I almost always come up with the answer.
Some people get their guidance in different ways. This is mine. And I'm very grateful for it!
I recently saw the cord on my heating pad I use every morning had curled up into a treble clef shape. I kept seeing it every morning and thought it was interesting enough to take a picture of it. How did it get twisted up in that shape?
Since I tend to make sense of signs, I asked the question what it could mean.
And then I let it go.
Completely forgot about it until I'd see it the next morning. And the next. And the next.
And then one day it hit me.
Don't die with your music still inside of you.
And when I thought that, I got a sense of peace.
Message received.
Time to do something about it.
That was a couple of months ago. Things have been slowly falling into place for me. And then I decided to move forward with my dream of helping others learn to live in gratitude, and boy, has everything started to fall into place!
It's amazing how everything starts flowing when you make a decision to move forward in a certain direction and take action.
Connections are made.
People seem to come out of the woodwork.
Miracles tend to occur.
Funny how when I set fear aside and refused to back down to it, my life started to flow in the right direction.
Love it!!!
The Steps to Making Sense of the Signs in Your Life
- Be open. Don't judge the idea of signs meaning something. Just because it's unusual doesn't mean it isn't effective.
- Pay attention. Stay observant and really look at what's around you. You can get inspiration from actual signs, (as in road or street signs) advertisements, pictures, something in the clouds, etc... I've gotten the answers to my situations in this way over and over. You MUST pay attention or you won't even see it.
- Ask why and what could it mean. Questioning is important because you're giving your subconscious mind something to work with. You give the "mind fuel" and it will return to you in kind.
- Let it go. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST! This is for the times when you don't get an immediate message. Just let it go and it will come to you when the time is right.
- Be patient. This is easier said than done for us "want it now" types. But if you just chill out and and detach yourself from the outcome, it will show up when it's right for you.
- Act upon it. Once you figure it out and have your light bulb moment, do something about it. Take some inspired action, and you'll be amazed at how quickly things happen for you.
Try it and see how it works for you. I'll bet the results will surprise you.
