You want to begin on your journey to bringing in some extra cash online and you've decided to try blogging. You can see from my list above that I personally think that there are more advantages to using free blogs. This is especially true when you're just starting out and have a limited budget with which to begin. The fact that the blogs are free through sites like Blogger makes it even easier for you to make money blogging since you don't have any overheard except for the time involved to write.

Your goal is to earn money by blogging. If you have no expense and you're making money with your blog, then you're certainly expanding your profit margin more than if you're paying for the site. I don't want to seem like I'm bashing the thought of hosting your own blog because you might find that it is best for you in the long run. However, it might be a good idea to try to make money blogging with the free sites first to see if blogging in general is right for you.
