Is your heart filled with love for him and you want to share your feelings with him? Do you think he might freak out if you tell him of your love too soon? Are you wondering when you should show him your love? Choosing your timing well can be crucial. Once the implication of your emotions are out there, you can't take them back and it can make for a very awkward situation.
The love you show him should be in keeping with the time you've spent with him. If after the first date you're all lovey dovey and showing him intense emotions, he'll think you're nuts, no doubt about it.
Be attentive and a good listener. That's the first real indication he wants to see of your interest in him. You also want to show him that you appreciate him and respect him for who he is. If you're already picking at him to change this or that, he's not going to sense you love him much.
On the other hand, you don't want to hang on his every word and treat him like a teen idol. Keep it balanced and real.
If you're in doubt with regards to when you can hold his hand or hug him, follow his lead. But you can try to make these moves innocently and see how he reacts. Take his hand as you maneuver through a crowd, or hug him when he tells you great news. If he recoils, you've moved too fast. If he reciprocates, you can carry on.
Whatever you do, don't be the first to actually speak the words. Showing him a degree of your love for him is one thing. Coming straight out and saying those three little words can leave you regretting them if you're not absolutely sure that he's right there with you emotionally.
Unrequited love will make you feel uncomfortable with him, but he'll also feel the pressure to love you and that's not a good place to be. Take your time and show him you love him in a healthy way.
